WHEN SHOULD I HAVE MY TRIAL?

The best way to know when you should have a trail is after you have purchased your wedding attire and accessories. The trail can be preferably one week before the event – so that there is time enough for minor corrections in attire, hairstyle or make-up issues if any. It can be the time required for rectifying minor skin issues like pimples and blackheads. A good lead-time is certainly helpful for the haircut to look settled and the hair color, if required, to set in.

HOW MUCH TIME IS REQUIRED FOR A TRIAL SESSION?

A successful trial session depends on the individual and the makeup artist engaged to serve him. It could involve discussion on the desired look, the mood and trying out various options. It is best to allow at least three hours for a comfortable session. The trial session is preferable during the day-time so as to understand perfectly how the makeup would look under natural light.

HOW FAR AHEAD SHOULD THE BOOKINGS BE MADE?

It is better to book as soon as your wedding plans are all firmed up and the wedding hall/venue has been decided and even before the invitations start to go out. The earlier the better is the simple rule so that the dates are confirmed and booked for you well in advance.
